North East meet

Anyone taking an S to the NE meet this coming weekend ?

will there be many TVR's turn up at this time of year ?

I'm planning this as my last drive out before laying up for a winter re-furb...

Taking my staff out for Xmas night out Saturday so very much depends on the resulting bad head - if I can pull myself round I will be there with the S.

Thank you - did you sort your breather out - I also have a new air filter to fit and was considering the catch tank / breather option ??

I'm going to fit a temporary bottle to catch the oil until I can decide on the best way to do this. i am not going to poke a hole in the new filter... I will divert the hose to the temp bottle and see what goes in there, and what it smells of to see if I can detect any problems.
The temp bottle is clear plastic with the hose through the side and some foam over the bottle top to act as the breather... If I cant get this done by sunday, I'll leave the hose in place into my temporary air filter until later

I'm planning on going on Sunday - it was my first meeting last month and there were about 20-30 TVRs there. Weather forecast doesn't sound great though... might need to bring the roof

I managed to lash up a catch bottle this afternoon, its not pretty but at least I was able to fit my new air filter. It will be interesting to see what is in there when we meet.

what time is the meet BTW? 11 or 12 ?

Sounds like it should go perfectly in a TVR!

Last month I got there at 12pm and people were rolling up for at least the next hour or so. Looking forward to seeing your car!

Good to see you at the meet yesterday... I checked out the oil catch bottle when I got home and there was nothing to speak of in it... must be a good sign eh ?

Sorry I didn't make it guys was looking forward to seeing Ketvrins S and catching up with you Geoff but unfortunately my father got rushed into hospital on Friday so I have been camped there almost all of the weekend.
