I'm due a free replacement or upgrade from 02.

I currently use an XDA Exec - specified as I work in recruitment and it is handy for receiving , editing and forwarding Word CVs to my clients - esp with the relatively large keyboard.

I must admit I do find it a little clumsy and prone to 'hanging' when I get a call and I find the navigation & general operation a little coverly complex though.

I have been offered an XDA Orbit but nobody seems to have a handset in to look at. Anyone used one or recommend another handset with Exec features including a decent keyboard? The sat nav & camera warnings seem like a nice bonus.

I'm not a big techie so want the features but ease of use too!

Is your current phone like this?www.imate.com/t-DETAILS_JASJAR.aspx
If it is i'd go for the upgrade as the navigation and use is nearly exactly the same.

Yes it is the same handset and I believe, the same specification.

It's just a bit frustrating as on the Exec the technology is there and on paper it seems ideal but it's just not very accesible - e.g.

it has two cameras so theoretically you can 'teleconference' but 3G access is too limited to do this where I am (and in many other areas). Freezing or cutting off incoming calls after 3 rings aint too clever either...

Maybe an orbit and one of those folding or 'projected' keyboards would be better...

Quite a few of the Exec's little foibles are resolved if you ditch the O2 Today screen and do a corporate install instead.

I did this with mine, bought a cheap GPS unit to go with it (Bluetooth) and it all works fine.

Thanks guys

will have a look at re-setting, O2 don't seem to offer the exec on their website anymore so I may just go for the orbit & keep my current exec too.
