Is there anywhere online (besides here of course!) were S owners can discuss their motors, post pictures, links, parts lists etc, so we have a shared resource?

I guess what I'm saying is for a Yahoo! eGroup or something similar - as I've not spotted in my travels.

I was thinking more along the lines of different content, so say images of a restoration could be dropped somewhere.

Also makes life simpler for those you don't have their own websites to post images / files etc.

You could always set up an e group on Yahoo it's free and there is area to upload pitures and files.

That's what I've been thinking of, but I didn't want to step on any toes or re-invent a wheel I don't know of!

Although gassing serves 90% of what we need it'd be useful to have an extra storage area for all things S, as over time some of the resources seem to be dissapearing it seems..

TVRCC message board was dull as ditch water and infrequently added to the last time I went there (probably 6 or more months ago)

Would be very handy to have lots of S-related resources in one place though...... maybe just a proper archive, so as not to detract from this site or hang on, SHPUBS book for that matter.....?

That's the idea, somewhere we can drop files of interest for the rest of us that are specific to us S folks.

The last thing I'd want to do is spoil the Pistonheads resource, as we've such a wide range of posters here, and Ted earns his living from it also.

I have created a parts list at www.tvrcc-south-wales.co.uk/sparts.asp as I was quite keen on this subject when I had an S. If you want a copy of it in a word document let me know. Or if there is any info that anyone can add email it and I will add it to the list, for benefit of everyone.

Not too sure if another forum elsewhere for the S would be a success, e.g. the tvrcc maillist on yahoo is getting less and less all the time with everyone by the looks of it using PH, which is a central point for all things TVR (IMHO)

My own view of course.

Cheers.......SP

I may be able to offer limited storage facilities here at some point. It's on my everlasting list of things to evaluate.

I think it would be good if we could keep it simple and on PH, rather than add another list.

I'll do some sums and see if I can provide some limited storage under the control of each group's moderator.

It is a good idea and this sort of thing is a variation on what I was thinking of, so I'll give it some more thought.

Which bit? The S forum, or the nob gags?

Podie, try and make a post without a reference to nob gags. Go on, I dare you.

I've just registered the domain tvrsseries.com and am currently setting up a site which I hope to launch in the next month. Basically you'll be able to maintain your own space, submit S related articles and all sorts of other cool stuff. I'll also probably set up free email at the domain, so you can be john.smith@tvrsseries.com.

Please, if you have any suggestions, you're interested in helping out with content, or would like to be involved testing the site, let me know! Oh.. of course it'll be free!
