"Gold" forum or alternate suggestions

The "Dramatic photos that capture the moment" thread prompted me to ask this - is there any way of preserving threads that are worth keeping for, if not all, then a long time in a unified, accessible place? A hall of fame, if you will. Stickying doesn't seem appropriate as I'm thinking of "memorable" threads rather than necessarily important ones, if that distinction makes sense.

Photos thread, Hammond one, Carrera's cleaner...that kind of thing

you could allways bookmark your favorite ones? so not to loose them.

True, but I was thinking more of a "Mod Nominated Hall of Fame/Shame" type thing. Although I suppose there's a danger of ego massaging.

I'll give it some thought. I'm sure I can build something like that in perhaps based on the user ratings.
