There used to be a skeletal sidecar that you could bolt onto a bike to circumvent the learner laws: essentially it created a tricycle that you could ride on a car licence... but as they've plugged that loophole I guess it went a while ago...

There was one under Waitrose in Canary Wharf yesterday - first time I had seen one. Interesting, but I just wonder if it will appeal to those who are even less competent than your average gayped rider.

My evening class college tutor is picking up one of these to test today. Will report back on what he thinks of it if anyone is interested.

Looks like good fun, well, better than getting stuck in city traffic going no where anyway.

Probably. There seem to be large numbers of people who waste money on expensive scooters to mince around City. These people must be their target market.

I'm surprised that nobody else has pointed out that a bike can't, by definition, have three wheels.

Does anyone know the number to ring to report cruelty and abuse of a three wheeler?

I bought one !
oh my god. better than a 2 wheeler on a wet road for sure.
Very slow... but better to be out there having fun than
stuck indoors, or in a cage. Faster than a hospital bed
definately.
I'll be out cornering sports bikes in summer too. More grip
than power!!! and hopefully no points, but max fun. You
won't understand until you try one and find yourself at
max lean, on a gritty oily roundabout while braking. Then
you'll suddenly see that it ain't so daft.
120,000 miles on 2 wheels, 200 on 3. And I love it. Email
me if you want to know more. I'll reply tuesday - back at
work then.
cheers all. Oh yeah, not gay at all. Ask my missus!

Hi Carl,
found this thread after a search on 'MP3' to see if anyone had any opinions on the bike (using the term loosely wink).
Want to get the other half one of these for the commute across London on the premise that it will be safer (better braking, more grip and road presence) than her current 50cc 'ped. How are you getting on with yours?
Cheers,
Chris
