Now I've really done it, broke the socket for the locking wheel nuts (993 Cup 2).
I cannot find the code in the car for the type of wheel nut I've got.
I've tried a 22mm socket (multi-spline) but it seems to be slightly too big for the recess and is marking the alloy as I hammer it on.
Anybody got any ideas?

If it is a Porsche locking wheel nut then I believe all OPC and some indi's carry a full set and therefore could remove the offending nut. Might cost but you never know.

Oliver thanks for the suggestions, will post the outcome.
Ian, as far as I know there are at least 25 versions of wheel nuts in existence for the 993, I am considering sending the broken socket to a specialist or OPC to source a replacement.
More later.
Thanks.

No big deal, I lost one....turned up at the OPC with V5 to show proof of ownership, out came their case of 30 coded sockets, we tried a few until we found the one that fitted,,,socket ordered and arrived in a couple of days.

The original is currently in a local eng shop, if they fail to replicate it I'll go the OPC route.
Thanks
