Hi,

We're looking for a mid-90s (third generation) RX-7 to feature in the next issue of evo. It would have to be a nice, original, unmolested example. There would be some road driving involved but no performance testing or track work. We would insure the car. We'll also pay for fuel, food and accommodation, and you'd get a nice set of prints of the car after the feature's been published. The story is happening next Monday and Tuesday (Dec 11 and 12) on Exmoor.

If you've ever fancied seeing your pride and joy immortalised in print, please drop me a line at petert@evo.co.uk

Many thanks,

Peter T

Hi!

Posted in the members area over on www.Mazdarotaryclub.com, will also post in the public area of the site later in the week. Also posted over on www.fduk.org.

Shame you're not looking for a highly molested FD with a blown engine or I'd be your guy

Cheers,

Iain

Sounds like a buying guide on older Jap metal...sounds good. Always liked the FD, just been worried about the potential bills...

Any feedback yet Iain?

Read Mr Tommo's other topics....

Ooh. I only saw the RB5 one before. Looks like another used-car feature, I'd guess around the £10-15k mark.

Now that IS something to look forward to...esp. with the metal they're looking to feature...

Mr Tommo...don't suppose you want to include an S2000 in that article, do you?!?

I've offered them my UK RX7 if they want it. I would be really chuffed if it got in Evo. So here's hoping.

nice looking car - amasing how good looking a completely standard one is - even some 15 years after it was produced. doesn't look dated at all.

Cheers Iain. Your Rex looks good to, pitty about engine. But least it didn't go pop right at the beginning of the nice weather. I want to get a single tubby for my next Rex. But not shore how easy it's going to be selling mine. The amount of time wasters you get makes it not worth the while in selling.

I can't do the shoot now, as can't get the time off work. To say I'm gutted is and underestimation!!!!
