Price seems about right.

Mine's a similar age & mileage & is getting a bit thirsty on the oil front, so I'm due an engine threshen up at some stage.

Just bear things like that in mind and you'll be fine.

Early 4.2s sometimes snap the crank, although don't know how wide spread this is and certainly haven't heard of this happening for some time now. Generally, V8 engines in either capacity are reliable.

What are the standard performance figures for the 4.2 anyway?

The perf figures are around 4 secs to 60 and a top speed of 180+. 0 - 100 in some 10 secs.

And some Cerbs can do the 1/4 mile in under 12 seconds, well maybe just the one.....

I currently drive a modified 3L GTV and its my daily driver.

Does anyone here use their Cerb as a daily driver? I ask becuase I dont know whether I should keep the Alfa for everyday and have the Cerb for weekends, or just use the cerb everyday

If I could use the cerb everyday, I'd sell the GTV, as the 10 grand it would provide would go into looking after the TVR...

What do you think?
