You know when you are so angry that you cant utter the words required.....

Perhaps this is the posting verison of same - quite eloquent I suppose if you view it that way.

Could we hazard a guess that it is regarding the refusal of such chappies to use indicators or mirrors? Ergo, we all know this, so no need to add anything further to the post.

Well hold on a minute, I feel obliged to point out that being a TVR owner and being a BMW owner are not mutually exclusive! We can't all be tarred with the same brush...

Just to make things worse, I have a Chim, a 330 coupe and my wife's Mini Cooper. My bike is British though.

I feel a slagging off coming on from someone.

Apologies chaps. As somebody suggested, I started the thread...had second thoughts...deleted it, but for some reason the thread's title remained confused

But having just seen your responses, I guess you deserve an explanation.

I sold an item recently on eBay. When the winner provided payment through PayPal, I was compelled to upgrade my account in order to accept his credit card funded transfer. N.E.Way, I asked the buyer if he could send a cheque... or if he preferred, he could add a quid or so to cover the PP charge. However, I didn't twig that my email address was visible to him in my response, and it contained reference to TVR in the address.
He replied saying that he was quite happy to pay the additional charge as TVR owners needed all the cash they could get to pay for the taxi fare to get them home! irked
He then added that he drove a Z3.

Edited to say, I'm sure this person's rudeness is not typical of all BMW owners!

I'm now ashamed to say that I also drive a Z3 (amongst other BMW's) and if you're prepared to name 'him' I'll make sure us nice roadster types hunt him down like a dog and make him squeal, which will of course be video'd & uploaded to YouTube for your viewing delectation!

Hope this acts as some kind of reparation for the humiliation you've clearly suffered

Thanks for your kind offer Stu, but it was rather a knee-jerk reaction that made me start the thread, but I thought better of it as after all, it takes all sorts to make a world, and IMO this type of person is best ignored, and I didn't wish to rise to the bait.

To be honest his comment is pretty funny.

This in itself raises a question - have we found a BMW driver with a sense of humour? I went for a test drive of the M5 a few weeks ago (don't want one - is a business thing) and when the salesman mentioned BMW's sporting hertitage mentioning the Mille Miglia concept, I merely pointed out to him its not really cricket to idolise a race that your company won in a year when a certain one balled Austrian was subjugating the greater part of Europe - hence somewhat restricting the field on race day.

The boy got upset and suggested that that comment wasn't necessary. I added neither was the invasion of Poland and he sat in grumpy silence till we got back.

Prat. Nice car though.

Class

as for the original point ... i thought it was quite amusing and wouldn't have bothered me ... I'd have just put an extra quid on the postage !
