Media Extenders?

[markys]

Are any available for Vista yet?

I take it by 'media extender' you don't mean 'longer cable'?

Will probably when Vista goes General Release in a month or so.

But it maybe a second gen Xbox360 thing, wouldnt put it past them.

360 is the only one that is alleged to be Vista MCE capable. Although reports indicated that RC2 of Vista would work with an Xbox but not a 360... Opps.

Must admit, having had a dose of Vista thanks to Media Player 11 being 'Aero'd'... I think Vista is the most fugly thing ever. And I used to use KDE 2.x! I'm not even going to investigate upgrades until I know for certain that it's WinXP mode does all dialogue boxes and window types... (i.e. run cmd in XP and it displays the box in a 2k-esque window).
