I asked mike if he could look at poor starting and lumpy in first and second gear mike found 6 things wrong with her the main one was how ever did the timing belt last had not done it right it was a tooth out. I thought all this would cost about 900-1000 pounds and it turns out i got it for 400 pounds i was pleased because i also have been made redunent from my job as a 3rd year lotus apprentice does anyone know how has a job vacance at all. cheers everyone leslie

Sorry about the job mate.

You could do worse than signing up for the weekly email from this lot :

www.mtselect.co.uk/

I get one every friday but all the jobs they list seem to be in your neck of the woods rather than oop north where I am. The jobs they list tend to lean more towards Sports/Prestige too, which is nice.

There is an employment section in the classifieds here, but it's normally a bit scant. If you pick up a copy of Auto Express (with it's 'scoop' on the new Dino !) and flip to the back they have adverts from all the best automotive recruitment agencies, get registered with the lot of them and you'll be picking who you want to work for ! Don't be down about it, all companys sort their budgets out for the new year, and all the best jobs come up.

Nice car btw !

Job situation a bit of a bummer, Leslie.

At least the Urraco is fit. Carrera Sport have a well deserved reputation so it's nice to hear Mike's standards are as high as ever.

Hope your employment fortunes improve.

Best of luck.
