There's a firm in Basildon (Essex), called Hayward & Scott who produce custom built exhausts. Anyone had one fitted to their car, had dealings with them, or come across their work?

they are reputationaly good. Although a frind of mine had one made for his S2000 and it started blowing after a few months. Might be worth reading their warranties very well.

Had a pair of their silencers on my Mk1 GT3 when I purchased it earlier in the year, they were listed on Ebay within days of being removed from the car !

They make some excellent systems for Subarus, apparently they used to make the manifolds and systems for the David Sutton rally quattros in the 80's (also the works Escorts in the 70's I believe)

Their stuff is not proven on a dyno (as far as I know) and is more about making a sportier noise/ enhancing looks than any genuine increase in performance.

Stick to the recognised manufacturers Cargraphic, Techart etc IMO

I have a custom made wastegate pipe. Very well made, good value, and they were easy to communicate with. Would throroughly recommend.

Was toying with the idea of a PSE but really need to get the car serviced to make sure there's nothing expensive which needs doing, before I blow (no pun intended) £1,500 on an exhaust.
That's not gonna happen this side of xmas, which means OPC special offer on PSE will, no doubt, be history !

I live in Bournemouth but I am always at my parents near Braintree .
