Hi Guys, i can not seem to find Mobil ATF 220 for the gearbox, and the correct oil for the Diff anywhere the ATF 220 seems not to exsist anymore scratchchin. So does anybody now where in the Midlands they sell Mobil products not just engine oil, or has anybody used a different make if so what?. Its for my Chimaera 500 1998.

FWIW I found the same for my 500 in Septas i planned to do this myself. To be fair the job isn't as easy as you'd expect if you have standard home garage ramps etc, so I bit the bullet and used Central TVR Stourbridge to change both. I watched them do it & it isn't easy o access the drains & fills as you would expect. It shouldn't be more than an hours labour & oils are quite cheap. They actually used the correct fluids too, which, belive it or not several independants were celarly not clued up on.

this web site sells it

www.oil-store.co.uk/?path=item&id=124

but I'd get your local indy to sort it as it is not trivial (well I am kin useless with spanners!)

edited to add - you're only 20 odd miles from David Geralds - they should be able to help.

It's great to find somewhere that actually sells the oil, but 60L is rather more than I would need, looks like they only supply in bulk.
Anyway, I wanted to change my gearbox oil & it looks as though the exhaust has to come off,(T5 box), can anyone advise me?

TVR keith changing the box oil is easy with the correct tools,no you dont have to remove the exhaust.the diff filler plug is a little trickier though, but still DIY no problem.
