Help! I need a Throttle Return Spring.....

I have a snapped throttle return spring - this is the spring inside the engine that closes the butterfly valves, not the external throttle linkage one. Anyone know where I can source one from? Fernies have tried most of the main dealers to no avail. They are curently looking into salvage yards.
They've also tried TVR Power.....
TVR have apparently crated up all the spares for TVR Power and no one knows when they will firstly get the spares, and secondly sort through them all. I suspect that this is going to take some time.
I've tried Austec. Anybody have any other ideas?

Surely one of the engine builders might have one? APM etc..?
