London Motorsport Show

Anyone thinking of going to the London Motorsport show this weekend. Starts 10am tomorrow.

I'm going tomorrow too. Not sure what to expect, but I'm assuming it won't be very big, the Excel centre isn't exactly huge and there is boxing scheduled to be on there too.

Well, I went to the show today and must say I was a little disappointed. Luckily didnt have to travel too far and got the MSA complimentry ticket to get me in so I shouldnt really complain. good show if you are into karting plus some pleasant eyecandy (sorry no pictures)

Was going to go but have to say that the website didn't exactly make me think oooh - gotta do that!

Can't see what this offers that the Autosport show doesn't - apart from the location.

Went along today as it's not far for me and found it OK - wasn't expecting a huge show, certainly not on the scale of Autosport International. Within a few minutes found a bargain priced trackday lid, which made it worthwhile.

Met a few friends there, picked up this year's Autocourse, some nice things to see (oh and some cars, too ), had a look at a couple of solid state video recorders, don't think I've seen the Senna Toleman up close before - surprising how primitive it looked, even for then - as if it had been cobbled together! No offence to Rory Byrne and co as they had a tiny budget but it was almost like having a Clubmans car on the F1 grid.

Yeah, wasn't massively excited by the show. I think it should have stayed at Sandown Park - easier for me to get to!

Definatley getting to Autosport International next month. Saturday looks like the best day. Thinking of going to the Le Mans dinner as well.

yeah Autosport International next month for me wouldnt mind meeting up with some people from here

I'll be going, possibly either the Saturday or maybe the Trade day on the Friday as I know one of the exhibitors. I thought the London show was okay, it was only really the kart show expanded slightly to include a few other motorsport exhibitors. If it's well supported it'll get bigger. It was very good for bargains though, I also got a cheap helmet.
