Boxster Hardtop fitting
Discussion
Hi,
I have a hardtop from my 2000 Boxster 3.2S which I'm trying to sell. The potential buyer is wondering if he will need to buy a fixing kit like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Porsche-Boxster
Being nontechnical I'm not sure. I just clip my hardtop on without any problems.
Thanks

If his car has never had a hardtop fitted and was originally ordered from Porsche without a hardtop...
...he will indeed need that fitting kit. The unlucky chap selling that eBay item clearly had bought a secondhand car that had originally had the hardtop when shipped by Porsche - but the previous owner sold it seperately.
I have had one car with a hardtop and one (the current one) without.
You might want to tell him to pick up that cheap fitting kit!
