Well I guess it was bound to happen again one day. Just had the car recovered on load loader. Basically about 1 mile from home on my way to a kart race and i loose all ability to change gear, and the alarm starting sounding for brake pressure!

Oh well should get fixed next week.

i did check it regularly, but its just been in for a new clutch and also a replacement 5th gear, and had only been driven around london for London thunder, so this time i just lept in and went.

Funnily enough as I was driving down the road from my house I was thinking that the clutch peddle felt a little long and stiff, but then it was 2c and i wondered if it was just cold, even though my garage is heated up to 10c, i doubt it would warm all the way through the car.

Any way i get to a set of lights and it engages gear and then wont come out. Have to crash the box to limp it into a shell petrol station!

I checked the reservoir and its full, so phoned the rac. The recovery company was excellent, so careful with the car, and checked every panel and under the car so we all new it was it mint condition when they took it.

I also sent my sms message to the meta alarm to disable the ability to start the engine because i did not want anyone trying to enjoy the noise whilst it was kept in storage until monday! Handy things these meta alarms!

cheers

Simon

Thats really not my style as a human, so i am not going to get angry.

To answer the sms questions.. i have one of these www.tvruk.tv/dyncat.cfm?catid=37, and they are worth every penny.
