Mystery Leak

Hello peeps, just wondering if any of you could shed any light on this problem...

Last winter I discovered a wet patch behind the drivers seat of my 2000 Saxo vtr. I did my best to find where this water was coming from, but I never found the source (its definitely not from the sunroof). Eventually after drying it out, it went away and didnt come back... UNTIL NOW!

So is there anywhere/anything you guys suggest I check to sort this once and for all?

Sounds like a leaky heater matrix to me, does the car smell of coolant (if you got any in!) when you turn the fan on??
Failing that go to a jet wash with a few mates and give it a good soaking, could be the boot seal

Or, can't remember where the washer jet is on the Saxo, but my brother leon had the hose that went to that (which is on the roof above the rear seats) come adrift and leak that way!

Thanks for the replys Mr Marshal. I dont have any coolant smells in the car, I'm pretty sure its just water (though I will double check). I thought the washer jet hoses ran underneath the car??? I'll also check this though.

I tried the jetwash thing last time... couldnt find any leaks at all

Edited to add that the washer jet hoses definitely run under the Sax as I had to change the pump not so long ago, so its not that then...
