Falken tyre sizes?

A dull question i know, but i'm taking the plunge with some road tyres for the winter months. From research on here, it would appear that the Falken 451 is as good an option as any, but what sizes would you guys recommend on 18" spiders?

Thought the 451's were being phased out and harder to get. They are replaced by the 452's afaik.

New boots all round in July this year on 18" spiders: Falken GRB FK 452 255/35 R18 Y & 225/35 R18 Y. Cost me £107 each for the rears and £93 each for the fronts delivered plus VAT = £478 total. Then fitting on top

I take it the consensus is 255's on the rear & not 245's ???
