Mike,

The only downsides to Murcielago ownership are: the jealous dancing donkey types evil ; the pain in your face from the permanent smiling ; and the constant attention from other road users!

The sports exhausts (of pretty much any variety - though I have a Tubi)sound awesome ! There is very little to compare BUT they are LOUD!

I remember thinking at the start of the Gumball that the Capristo was just stupidly loud

Having driven Si's murcie back from Anglesey a few weeks ago, with the Tubi on it really sounds the business, can be a little bit boomy inside at low speeds but that just means you have to keep the revs up to fully enjoy the experience. One thing you can be sure off, everywhere you go in it, is just like being a film star, you get that much attention its great.

Roll on Next year when our LP640 arrives!!

Andy.

Never heard that one!! Urban myth I'm afraid - cars are pretty solid.

I like the Murcielago, it's as easy to drive as a ford focus (only wider)
Long sweeping v12 power delivery
Gearbox v.smooth

negatives
Audi interior, lacks any passion
serious license loser
brakes on the one I drive are horrendous in comparison to 6tlr
residuals - who knows which way they'll go
early 02 cars share same shock problem as 6.0
