A colleague at work is looking to get a Celica GT4 engine rebuilt (with a few modifications / upgrades) and is looking for an experienced/reputable garage around the Leatherhead area.

Can anyone recommend anybody?

Thank you all.

IMHO - and speaking from experience - if it's for any major work, including servicing, bite the bullet and drive up to Nottingham to see Ian at Toyauto - he is the GT4 god. Buy the parts from fensports.co.uk and get Ian to work on the car.

Or buy the parts from Ian/ebay/USA and get Ian @ Toyauto to fit them and save yourself about half the cost.

Ian gets my vote. I'd go there more often if he was local to me. Certainly, if I needed an engine build I'd give the man a call.

Ian Smith for the win yes

I'd never take one anywhere else. IIRC it was once said on the GT4OC, if Ian cant fix it, you dont have a GT4.

And only buy from Fensport if you dont mind paying through the nose
