Having heard what Ive heard from Jonny5 and an ex-owner on here...... sure, buy it at that price if you like, but dont expect more than £80-85K trade in within a year.

Thats the problem with these cars the difference between trade price and retail is massive, and unless you are lucky with a private sale or SOR you are gonna have to trade it in OUCH

And be careful on the credit side of things, I know an owner who had to pay the dealer nearly £22k to take away the car to cover the -ve equity

This was the situation I was in last year when I was selling my Murci. All the dealers stuck together on a trade price and funnily enough, very few people have £90k or so laying around for a private sale.
Things have changed a bit with the likes of Saffron Asset finance coming onto the scene as they'll finance a car from a private sale. So, you go and find a nice private Murci out there and they'll buy it and refinance it on to you. It's a nice gap in the market that they can really exploit.
Would have been handy to know about last year...

PS: I was the guy who took the bath on the £90k Murci. The only consolation was that it was then sat on the dealer's forecourt at £115k for over a year.
So knowing what the dealer's pay trade, I wouldn't pay anything over £100k. I know the prep needs to go into it and everybody's got to earn a crust, but £25k or so's excessive in my eyes...Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
