tax needed renewing so i decided best thing to do is wait till end of feb time when the weather has got better!
i just know theres going to be that mint day when the sun is shinning and the road salt has been washed away!!
still, at least she is safe and sound tucked up in the garage!! dont want to be another one wiped out!!
so does anyone else SORN or put there tvrs away over winter??

Admittedly they're not the ideal winter car, but if you extend that logic, there's not much point in having one at all on the road 
I tend to only have one car at a time, so for the past 3-and-a-bit years its been the Cerbera. Before that a 3000m. Neither is brilliant in snow, but they fare better than motorbikes, so its all relative.
Keeping cars for the summer or even more extreme, 'high days and holidays' only is probably a good thing, but I get the feeling that we won't be able to do this much longer. The older I get the more I want to experience these things while I can. But the downside is the expense, the high milage and a car that hasn't been washed for three months.

That reminds me, I have to get some decent driving gloves soon. Wheres the best place to get a pair?

No - I wouldn't even go through the process to find out how to do it. If I want to take the Tiv out to stretch its legs (and mine) whether it's sunny and cold or lashing down with rain I want to just pick up the keys and go do it. In my mind there's nothing more exciting than waking up early (pre-6am) and jumping in and drive off to breakfast somewhere (warming it through carefully, of course, before giving it the full beans). It doesn't happen that often but on every occasion it turns into a great (totally self-indulgent) day that requires a good rub down with carnauba on the return (and I usually give the car a quick rinse too
