We are putting together a portfolio on Mickey Holden for next year in the theme of the youngest driver at 16 ever to race in the "Dunlop" TVR Tuscan Challenge.
There will be a page in the portfolio for wellwishers to wish Mickey all the best, so we are looking for race drivers past and present, race fans and fans of the TVR Tuscan Challenge, organizers, race circuits etc to give their names and a little comment.... Many Thanks.
Regards,
John G Star.

Mickey will become the youngest driver to compete in the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge / TVRCC Challenge. That's a slightly different proposition to the youngest ever to compete in the TVR Tuscan Challenge. The latter would have required him to have held a National A licence and driven a Tuscan rather than a Tasmin, but in any case is a mute point as the championship ended in 2004.

Out of interest, does anyone know who was the youngest person to drive in the 'full fat' TC? I think Phil Keen was 19 when he drove in 2003 - was there anyone younger?

John - I don't think you had anything newsworthy to say when you started this thread.

Mickey has, to date, taken the first step in motor racing - passing his ARDS test, for which he received deserved congratulations and messages of luck from many, me included.

As and when he races, depending how he gets on, he may well warrant further praise and congratulations and I hope he does well.

Perhaps my comments yesterday were a little pedantic. What I was actually thinking was that you've told us once or twice that Mickey will, at 16, become the youngest driver in the Tuscan series. Until he actually races and makes the achievment real, how much more mileage do you want to eek out of this?

Dear Mr Andy "HOLDEN" from holden racing, Yes we at STAR RACING find you very "pedantic" in the words that you say on PH with regards to Mickey HOLDEN. This lad is starting out in a racing career in motor racing just as you did once over! We are HERE like you, to gain all the sponsorship that we can generate, as we know you are thriving on the past TVR Tuscan Challenge competition , this is a stepping stone for Mickey so please "dont" comment on our prodigy the likes to how much mileage we want from this subject. As YOU know we want as much publicity as we can GET! Johnny G Star.

Bloody Hell Andy! Did you get out of bed on the wrongside on the 14th??
I would have thought that you of all people would recognise the benefit of a bit of self promotion and accept it in good spirit.

After reading your website one would think we will all be racing against the coming of the next schumacher!!
If only we were all so blessed as to have an Iveco 7.5 transporter with spectator seating for 20. Get a grip sir and come back down to earth with the real people you are sharing the championship with.

(It's supposed to be fun??)

Neil.

I think its about time that we had a new primadonna on the circuit. he's a handsome lad to boot what with all that hair. i still maintain though that I am the one with the larger tits

I wonder if wonder-bra would sponsor me!!

N.
Still sponsor less, skint and building on a shoestring.
Car nearly finished. Now saving for a 7.6 tonne Iveco with seating for 21.
