Hey up, a friend of mine's had his car parked in the same spot for 3 or 4 days, in that time he's received three parking tickets, none of which have the two-digit offence code number on them, they say the offence was "No disc displayed", but like I have said, no offence code is written on it, are these tickets legal or not?

Thanks,

If you look at Schedule 6 RTA 1991 in the Section covering Notice to Owner all the obligation is that the authority has to inform the GROUNDS for issue of PCN. It does not specifically state the Code No.

It would therefore appear that in writing the words "Disc not displayed" then those are the ground for issue and therefore ticket(s) lawful.

Lucky he had a car top come back to????

OK, fair enough, he's an idiot for not buying a permit to be honest, but is it right that he got three whilst the car was parked in the same place?
