Hi everyone, I've just bought a new stereo (Sony MEX-BT5000) for my 94 4.3 Chimaera. Does anyone know if I need any kind of additional attachments/fittings before fitting it ??

Cheers

You shouldn't need anything - it's all standard ISO stuff.

Take your time, it's easy to damage the dash veneer...

Same as mine, although I whimped out and got Paul at Walldenway to do it for me. hehe
Great system, needs upgraded speakers from the standard fit.

Mine wasn't all ISO (early '96 model) , the stereo was 'hard wired' in as they call it albeit with crimped bullet connectors. I bought some ISO connectors (£10) and bullet connectors (£2.50) and wired them up myself. Fairly easy as it turned out, but could have had it done at a local car audio place for £35.

I've just bought a S/H headunit on eBay for my '95 Griff - sounds like I may have more work than I expected then! wobble
