Just been having a look at a beautiful Diablo LHD Orange 6.0ltr thats keeping my Murcie company in Lambo Manchester. Black/Orange leather interior. Its just come from Kuwait via a trader. (Come on whose is it?!) Lovely car and got the thumbs up from the Technicians there. Got some pics so Jonny shall I send em to you to host? Haven't a clue how to do it

From Simon, apologies for the delay ... at airport, will post the Factory pics when I get to LA

Same colour seats as mine, different colour dash - same as the Orange SE

hope this isn't a really broad question!

I don't have my 360CS anymore and hopefully when the insurance comes through I'm going to have around 100K to play with again.

Have always loved Lambos but was warned off the Murci (service costs, depreciation etc) when I bought the Stradale. After my accident the idea of 4wd and a roadster (fair weather use only) are very appealing!

With the budget I have, which is the best Lambo to buy? I absolutley love the Diablos - Elms have a Roadster that looks stunning (~88K) - but is it a decent ownership proposition? I love Murcis but only want a lime green one and have seen the one for 109K - which seems overpriced?

+ anyone had a claim for 100K+ and then gone back for a quote on a similar car? Must admit I'm wondering if I'll be able to insure the car I buy...

Jasonh - general consensus is that Elms is very highly rated on here, go and have a chat to him and see if he can source your exact requiremnets for you...

whilst marginally better than RWD I don't consider the Diablo/Murcielago VT 4wd system to be an allround weather car

Porsche Turbo for that.....

I'd rather see a car with a stonechipped front than a perfect paint job. Shows its used and enjoyed rather than just stuck in a garage.

I've been over 100 meters behind him before and you still get the gritter effect.

That reminds me of walking round the Lambo factory in October. The drivers seat has got really worn in the Murcie, so when I spotted a huge roll of the correct coloured leather hanging on a roll I asked the lady showing me around - Cristina, if I could snip a bit off to take home and repair the seat. She looked at me horrified and bollocked me for 'even having such a thought'.I said why not? She said that the worn seat should always remain unrepaired to show how you use the Lambo as 'Ferruccio intended'. So I've left it as it is. Good job I'm not selling it

Well at least you use it mate. Unlike some that just have it sitting there, then get around to polishing it on those sunny days.
