What type of rubber do you use

Anyone know the Ford part number of the rubber pads,the ones the springs sit on.I know someone who could help out.

Steve the part number is 6039864 but I wouldn't hold out much hope of finding any!

I managed to get possibly one of the last pairs from a Ford dealer in Portugal over a year ago now.

Nope, tried those, along with every TVR dealer and Specialist I could think of, including ford Cortina forums owners clubs etc.
One very helpful Ford specialist went out of his way to find me a pair, he came back with one pair left in Portugal. £12 + p&p I was well pleased!

Worth having as spares Rev, if Steve did not want them I certainly would have taken them after the trouble I had getting some! I have a couple of sets of second hand ones but they are not that good after the length of time on the cars now. Really just keeping them as potential patterns for the future.
I did enquire about getting some made from Poly but I needed a fair size order to get things moving.
