About 18 months ago i remember seeing a yellow Diablo sv
in Rosso Corsa's showroom that they couldn't shift and
was eventually sold privately. The car had no cats and
apparantly flames came out of the exhaust.

I was told that it used to belong to Alpine.

Does this car belong to anyone on here ?

i think the strosek car was a later sv possibly a 98/530, used to see it at lambo club events, i believe it was up for sale recently on the club site. the alpine car was a 96,97/510 car, i was in touch with the owner a couple of years ago discussing decat pipes he had fitted with k&n filters. i'm sure mike pullen also had it for sale or return 5 or so years ago when i was searching for the right car. i don't know were it is currently.

No it was a standard SV in the non metallic yellow
with grey alcantara interior. It also had a black
wing and black or grey wheels.

'That' Strosek SV is still for sale via www.lamborghiniclubuk.com - the current owner is a good geezer and whilst the Strosek bits may not be to everyone's taste, the looks of the car grow on you the more you stare at it...

One of our Club members has told me about this car, so I have no doubt Alpine owned it.

graham of alpine did own that car, it was always on the stands at shows, i believe the reg was N666 LAM?

regarding the strosek, i'm surprised that's still for sale, maybe people don't like the mods. i've seen it years ago at various events and it really is a mint car.

The Strosek '99 Diablo SV in yellow belongs to a friend of mine (Darran) in Bucks, its still for sale and is mint. Low miles too as I recall + only ever used in dry conditions (its never seen a drop of rain!). He's had it since 1999 (from new I believe)
