Its official ...

My TVR is off for its MOT Next Week, and will be back on the road from mid January.

Then its a trip to see Wedgie for some consultation and a 6 month shakedown for Le Mans.

School run .... Jessica is 13 months old !!... will be back and forth the ChildMinders

Now if I can just get the car seat to fit with the 4-point harnesses

Well, the Car made it to Dulford Automotive this morning. It was 5 degrees as I removed the roof and set off from home to make the 2 hour trip to Collumpton. Traffic on the A303 was light but as the car had been mothballed for 2 years, i didnt push it past 100 Leptons(email me for the Lepton : MPH ratio )

The nice guys at Dulford will be giving her a once over and when it is deemed fit, a spanking new MOT. Family / Diving commitments and garage space mean it wont be out every weekend but now I have re-kindled the spark to put it back to Concorse condition.

It Lives !!!.

Collected the Wedge from Dulford yesterday. That have done a fantastic job. Service and quality of work second to none.
In the end, the bill wasnt too bad either. according to their calculations, they spent 37 man hours on the car to get it though the MOT, and to give it a full service.

The ride home gave it a good shake down too, 100 Miles in the worst weather I have seen in 2007 so far.

I have a list of things to get sorted when the weather gets a little better.

So, the car is back in its heated garage, and when its nice and dry i will start the pre-Le Mans Waxing

yep, quite a bot of electrical fault finding, plus I had high O2 on one cylinger due to a de-laminating gasket.

Congrats on getting the blue beast rolling again mate...

Mines still in the early stages of the restoration
(fund raising) but I'm hopeful that it'll be road worthy sometime this year (maybe possibly)

Don't forget, you still owe me a blat in it....
