sand in door lock, now jammed

Parked the griff in a carpark next to the beach, unfortunately the wind was blowing and the car got a thin layer of sand all over and its jammed both the door locks, I've used the emergency release to get into the car and sprayed the push buttons with wd40 but they aren't moving still, any ideas? guess it'll be roof off all the way home lol.

Nope Although might be easier than getting the sand out of my trainers, I'm going to try rinsing it with a hose now I'm home if not any ideas on how to get the plunger out?

High powered airline? That seems to shif most things. Combined with the water and oil it should get them moving again.

Managed to get the little grub screw out on the passenger side, this allowed me to release the t bar bit, unfortunately the one on the drivers side is stuck fast, I've tried WD40 on it and will continue to soak it over the next few days, they hopefully will be able to get it out. managed to get it the t bar moving again by hitting it with a hammer to press it down then knocking it back up again, doing this a few time means it can now be moved by hand but still needs to be pulled up after pressing down and feels very gritty. one more lesson, TVR's and sand don't mix.
