It's a disgrace that Porsche don't offer PSE as an option on the TT.

The exhaust note (or the LACK of it) was one of the main factors in me deciding to cancel my order for the 997TT.

I read somewhere that Porsche is developping an PSE for the 997TT, because the lack of sound is almost the only complant about te car. I think i will wait for this and eventually retrofit it if it comes later than the car, because i really like the look of the standard (chromed) tips. Hopefully it will be ready soon, so it can be mounted ex works. Does any of you guys have any info on this?

TechArt is showing an exhaust but I don't know whether this actually is the full monty or just a cosmetic gimic. I will certainly wait until Porsche bring out a their PSE for the 997tt. The car is superb, would not change anything other than maybe this as I am getting used to the "bling" wheels.

I doubt porsche will bring out a PSE for the Turbo, because the TT exhaust system contains the cats & part of the noise (& power) gain from the after market systems is from race cats which aren't as clean, so not politically correct for Porsche themselves! Of course I could be wrong, but in 6 years of 996TT production , no PSE for the Turbo!
