OPC just replaced my PCM unit as the old one seemed to have a problem reading the navigation disc (it was fine for the first couple of weeks I owned the car but then failed) and thus the Sat Nav was unusable (2004 996 TT). I used the new PCM unit the other day and all seemed fine until I tried it again this morning and "Navigation Disc Unreadable" happened again (and again when I retried it). Probably obvious to next get them to give me a new set of discs, but I wondered whether anyone else had experienced this, and if so what solved it.

Cheers,

I use T Cut also but 1 thing...........always polish from the centre of the disc outwards in straight lines. Do not just rub across the entire disc.

I take it this is just standard becker software, what version is it?

I haven't a clue. It's whatever the car shipped with (car was registered in Nov 2004). Perhaps I'll give the t-cut idea a go.

Cheers.
