Hi guys,

There's a huge range of fuels on the market now, and almost every main garage is offering high-octane, high performance fuel - even Tesco!

So my question to you (mainly Cooper S owners) is: which fuel gives you the best performance and which would you recommend?

Shell V Power seems to work best with my mcs
Tesco 99 cheap but doesn't seem as responsive
BP no experience off

yep v power or tesco 99 gives me by far the best perfmace and mileage out of my cooper

TESCO 99RON seems to give better compromise.

but i've put a bit of total excelium 97ron (sp?!) in recently and it seems to fly. downsides are the economy seems a bit worse. and more importantly (i jest) less obvious popping!

yeah i find most things 97 good exept bp ultiamte which is crap imo i got double the miage out of v power
