Spent the day getting these two beauties back to cleanliness. They are now thoroughly prepared for the season's worst and should survive till spring

Thanks to Paul (Mose) and Chris (Boss VXR) and Dan for helping out - I'd still be out there now if it wasn't for Chris' vigorous efforts with the microfibres. Oops and sorry about the white shirt

Oh. and Chris you should be ashamed of yourself letting it get that dirty! And NO dirty is NOT cool!

Some before shots to get you in the mood

And now for some afters

Hope you got back safely guys!

Nice job Brian. Job to do anything like that up North at the moment with the weather so I'm retired until spring! Dodgy looking wheels though! Must be hitting kerbs somewhere!

A few more pis of Brian sporting his wellies look.

And an interesting pic of how much brake dust deposit can be expected from the AP Brake upgrade, running the red pads.

Nice one(s) Bri - is that a Karcher power washer you use? Also, may have to take you up on the offer in Apr/May of an over-nighter...for a little 'renovation' of final finish, shall we say!!! Lewt me know any avail dates & cost?

I think I look quite good in those wellies.

I took a photo of that wheel after cleaning - quite a difference!

Sure thing Paul - email me and we can discuss. I know that car quite well! Bring down the Zymol Ital and we can hit it with that.

Booster,

Can you get a [covert] photo of the "interesting" paint job on the silver car, it really has to be seen to be believed.

Cheers

Great idea. Yeah - I'll sneak out and see if it's still there!

It is still there! A bit dark but you'll get the idea from this picture rolleyes

HAs to have used a scourer or brillo pad to get that effect!

Thing is Jeff, the owner has used either a brillo pad or wire wool to clean that door. And its an 06 plate as well.

Ouch!! Somebody 'll be gotten a right rollocking for that then shoot I remember when I was about 12 going down to the joke shop in Brighton and getting a stick on scratch and sticking it on my old mans Sunbeam Alpine convertible. Dropped a ladder outside and pretended it had landed on his car! You can't half run fast in those days laugh
