Just found this new kitcar project, I think it looks very interesting and like the seating layout...., what do you guys think?

Looks interesting, but only in early stages. bit worried about a bike engine trying to haul around 3 fat blokes, but good concept.

I wonder what the engine options will be. You won't find many Aprillia RSV 1000 V-twins at my local scrappy.

Oh - that (it had been pointed out to me earlier this month).

I like the Aeon and the Atom, so this appeals to me. Would need to see it when it's nearer to completion though (I think it'll be a bit more cramped than the Aeon).

I acquired one recently, for a road going single seater design that I'm working on at the moment. Freely available from bike breakers... mine cost £1200 including all ancillaries, out of a crashed 3 month old Aprilia Tuono R.

It's a very nice engine indeed - magnesium main castings, very compact due to the narrow angle of the Vee, light enough to easily pick up (the factory manual quotes 65kg for the engine and gearbox), dry sumped as standard and 133bhp out of the box.

Like Furyblade Lee, though, I'm not sure about the 3-seat configuration on this car, though, or the fact that it seems to be treading a very similar design path to the Aerial Atom.

total uninspired rip-off of an Atom. Only with extra seating / weight penalty.

at the very least, clad it with some bodywork and let it stand up on its own merits.. not just trading off the merits of the Atom.

Sorry, I dont see anything clever or original in this car at all

Why on earth would you want to put 3 people in it? I can understand a nice central position for the driver, but the extra 2 seats seem a bit pointless - most people will have only 1 passenger (typically husband / wife) so with this they can't even talk to each other properly due to the odd layout.

Very odd.

Ever heard of these small people (which gradually get larger) who inhabit your house? Well they are called children & I am foolish enough to have 3 of these, all vying for the one seat in the back of my Furore. Have to agree that 3 fat blokes & a bike engine won't sit well together tho'!

The chassis setup lends itself to different body shapes.......

Ah, well you're still out of luck then with 3 of them, unless they kick you out and one of them drives
