Hi all.
Has anyone have any ideas were i could get hold of a pair of front light weight lighting pods ( the ones that show the seam/joint line ).Also does anyone know whot the lights them selves are ?

Less use than a wet lettuce leaf I'm afriad bit I was at a show yesterday and saw the 'projector' style lights on the Aston DB9 and V8 and they look TONS better IMO.
Ig you're going to do it source these suppliers as well.....
and let us know what you find ?!

Probably not the cheapest source being carbon, and it would be a shame to paint over the carbon.

I had a quote from fibreon for these I'm sure it was about 70 + vat for the fibreglass pods, plus varying amount for lights.

I'd quite like to do this too, with gas discharge lights, too.

If you do get a parts list together could you let us know, because I'd be interested in going down this route as well.

Have a look at the conversions available here, I havent used these guys but I enquired a while ago before buying one already converted. I think they charge about a grand which includes lights and respray. www.tvrbodyshop.com/

Well, I think they are:

Halogen low beam: 1BL 008 193-007
Halogen high beam (with side light): 1KO 008 191-007
HID high beam with side light:1KO 008 192-007

But do not place an order just on the basis of this, I am simply comparing the catalogue to what I have fitted to my car. I note that on the lights I have, one of the mounting lugs seems to have been cut off so that the lights fit.

Best bet would be, I would have thought, to consult the guys who supply the mouldings, after all, they must know what lights the mouldings are designed to fit. You coulld talk to Newlun Design, near Silverstone, I know they do light conversions. www.newlunperformance.com

Word of warning, having had 2 cars with this type of light and seem several threads on here, Many body shops do these conversions, but it would seem that they are not all good with electrics! The way the Cerbera original wiring works results in voltage loss which causes these lights to be rater dim. Currently, mine look the business, but I cannot see where I am going. I am going to re-wire so power comes straight from the battery via a relay.

I think i will do this next year 07, if i can find the right bits and peices.As i prefer the none blended in version better.
Do you know how the Hella lights are held in place and whot the little small side light is ?
