A very small otter foetus is inerted in a pipe near the radiator in order to sense the heat. When the engine gets overheated the otter is understandibly aggitated so wiggles around a lot, this energy powers a dynamo which in turns is used to provide the fans with motion...

Just picked up an otter switch tomorrow, and just wondered if anyone has any useful advice...
Do I have a bleed the coolant before / after the process?
Is it as easy as it appears, i.e. unplug and unbolt the current one, then bot in and plug in...
Depends on where TVR have put it and how quick you are. If you spill a lot of coolent worth topping up and bleeding the system just to be sure.

It's located at the top of the pipe just behind the radiator, so it's relatively easy to get to (well as easy as most things under an S bonnet!).

I've been told when doing it to put cling-film on the top of the swirl tank to neck to seal the system, as this will cause less leakage, and sense to this?
