BBC clicky

Saw the Special One's post match interview on Sky, and thought he was a tad out of order accusing Johnson of being a cheat, when all he did was his best to avoid standing on Chelsea's keeper.
Agree totally with David Moyes' and Andy Gray's comments on Sky - neither a pen, nor a dive, and perhaps Jose should get his own house in order first.

I don't blame Mourinho for accusing Johnson of diving. After all, this is a player who dives in the penalty area whenever he gets the chance and has done so for many years. If Johnson was Portuguese, Brazilian or Italian he would be slated by the press and public as being a dirty cheat and should go back to the country he came from rolleyes But no, he's English isn't he so he wouldn't dare try and cheat would he? rolleyes

OK, yesterday's incident was debateable as to whether it was a dive or not but he did tumble over very easily when there appeared to be very little contact from Boulahrouz. And with Johnson's reputation there was always going to be some doubts.

Even if Johnson didn't dive yesterday Mourinho's comments have at least highlighted what most people already knew about that cheat but where too afraid to admit. The amount of dodgy penalties he won in his Palace days was incredible and sickening.

But remember, he's English so it doesn't matter rolleyes

People accuse Johnson of being a cheat, but there is seldom anything to back it up.

Apart from the video footage of him diving in every game he ever plays! He's up there with Ronaldo as the worst diver in the Premiership, he's a disgrace.

We used to sing 'ANDY JOHNSON GIVE A DIVE' when he was at Palace and Saints played them.

Must totally disagree with this. Its doing the complete opposite. Just seen Sky Sports news and the main story is about how Drogba and Robben are the biggest divers in the Prem.

Jose is becoming more and more pathetic

Has anyone actually seen the clip yet? I have, and it's a no win situation. Chelsea themselves had a keeper sent to hospital after a collision with a player. Andy Johnson is fast... very fast. And he had a choice of hitting the keeper, or jumping over him. He jumped, and thus he gets accused of diving. If he had clattered the keeper, and injured him he would have been accused of being violent, etc. No win situation. He never appealed for a penalty, it is just Mourinho who got all bent out of shape. Look at the clip and see what YOU think, not what you think the player reputation tells you.

Very well said. He also got up straight away and didn't appeal for anything.

Its more difficult for small, very quick players to stay on their feet due to low centre of gravity. I hate diving and the way footballers behave these days. Andy Johnson does not dive.

Those with the accusations have obviously never played

Have a look for yourselves.... Look at keeper coming out, anbd Johnson goes over him, rather than booting him in the head and sending him to hospital...

Cant believe someone from Everton is threatening to sue another because of comments (Moyes - Rooney anyone?) Attention seeking?

Agree with your last sentence 100% (which is sad coming from a Chelsea supporter) but it's no different from Sir Alex or Arsene, who are equally childish or pitiful, when the spotlight is on them. Anyone remember what it was like when Arsene created the siege mentality at Highury? I used to cry with laughter reading his rants on a daily basis when Arsenal were on their 49 unbeaten game run.

AFAIK there's been far less media attention on the squad and far more on Jose over the last 3 seasons, don't you think?

Why should they? They have been given the right to point fingers, etc, by the tabloid media...

why? When Gerrard dived to win England a penatly no one complained, in factundits positivly praised him. I hate diving, but Chelsea are no worse than the majority of other premiership clubs
