That's what me and a mate will be up to in 2007

Anyone done a similar kind of thing that can give me some tips would be great - as a lot of the trip will be off the beaten track we'll have done 1st aid courses etc beforehand but any further pointers about possible 'problems' would be great!!

Hiya C2,

Now, I've done a fair bit of "off-roading" on the R6, and as much fun as it is, it really does take in it out on the bike! hehe

Never been to Madagascar though!

Are you preparing your own bikes or you hiring bikes out there?

Planning my next summer stint already. Cambridge to Catalunya to Mugello to Donington, taking in the sights and sounds of a few GPs along the way

I've seen him too!! Looking back on it bloody funny!!! He just loves hedges Mind you, it's better than hitting the tarmac, at least a hedge is a softer landing laugh

We were going to prep some bikes here first but have now decided to hire them out there. Probably end up on XLs or Africa Twins by the look of things.

It will be totally wonderful, It will be just like actually being the real Ray Mears.... just make sure you don't pass eggs directly to someone and watch out for still water skin worms - you'll be fine.

Please bring back a mating pair of these for me...
