bluetooth pairing with mobile failing?

Trying to backup the wife's mobile to transfer it all onto the new phone, but for some reason it wont communicate with the PC.

Haven't used it for a while, tried my mobile, works fine still, but any attempt to connect to the wifes, nothing.

Unpaired them, tried to re-pair them, not having anything

Any tips/tricks to try?

While we're at it - is there any decent free software for backing up mobiles? I've got a registered copy of Mobile Edit (very old) but it will only allow 2 phones, non editable, non upgradeable, so that's going in the bin.

Sony Ericsson. (both are) never had a problem with this phone before, always used to work fine!

Try Floats Mobile Agent for backing them up. Works a treat with my W810i

Reboot both PC & phone.

I have this problem with my Nokia N70. Need to reboot the phone & PC & they connect with no hassles.

tried reboot, still same story. I'm beginning to think the phone might be more faulty than we thought (it's had a few problems with the battery, hence the replacement)
