Everybody else wanks off over the Ring, I have proper roads, with no traffic on them.

Remember back in about 1992/3 a mate of mine showing me the Brochure for the Griffith (which I still have somewhere)...

Ever since then, I wanted one...

Not a porsche, not a ferrari, nothing else... Just a TVR...

Bottom line for me was that I needed a replacement for my 24v Senator, Vauxhall didn't have one, and I'd rather have had my eyes scooped out than buy/drive a BMW in the Midlands (where the B stands for something other than Bayern); there just wasn't a credible "uber-saloon" in the price range. What then? We looked at TVR's with no real intention to buy, but got seduced by the look and sound. The clincher was I was persuaded that TVR residuals would make a car affordable. We left with a 4L Chimaera. We then bought a new 5L because we wanted more of the same!

I wanted one because for years, the looks and sound of TVRs sent a shiver down my spine.

We bought ours coz the mortgage is now paid off, and the kids have left home, (but one of them keeps coming back)So what else should we spend our hard earned cash on??? The thing is though, its getting harder for both of us to get in and out of the thinghehe

TVR's should be on prescription - medics tell us to keep the joints mobile, so contortions in and out are surely what the Doc ordered hehe

I tried to get in a new Audi RS4 the other week. It had those special sports hugging seats. It was actually painful to get in over the bolsters as they jab the backs of your legs. I find the TVR much easier - the only thing is ducking down a bit more than a saloon car.
