I recently upgraded from FF1.5 to FF2, but there is one change thats really bugging me... previously each tab shared an "x" in the top right corner to close the current tab but in FF2 each tab has it's own "x"

Does anyone know if the new version can be configured to work like 1.5 as I got on a lot better with it that way!!

Firefox help said:

You can move or remove the close button in the tab bar by using about:config to edit the preference browser.tabs.closeButtons. Values:

0 - Display a close button on the active tab only
1 - (Default) Display close buttons on all tabs
2 - Don't display any close buttons
3 - Display a single close button at the end of the tab bar (Firefox 1.x behaviour)

Typical, that's the one feature that really stands out as an improvement to me! hehe

In answer to your question though ... no idea! sorry.

Cheers, I didn't consider that the help might actually answer my question! Those Firefox fellows really think of everything - and not an animated paperclip in sight!
