Tyre Recommendation

Anyone care to recommend a hard wearing tyre for my TVR.

Just noticed that the rear Bridgstone S02's on my 1989 400SE are going to need replacing ASAP. These have lasted around 10,000 miles of fairly easy going road use, and as I am currently unemployed I would be prefer to get something that is going to last a bit longer.

I am not planning to do any track days and my standard road driving is not that spirited so I don't think I would notice any difference between the performance of a grippy tyre compared to a hard wearing one.

So, any recommendations ?
