99 Disco suspension problem
Discussion
I wonder if there is anyone here who could help. When the car is parked the air suspension on one or both sides seems to deflate. On starting the engine they seem to inflate again with no problem. It's not really a problem, but the car looks hideously wonky when this happens.
Any help much appreciated, thanks in advance.

The air bags that support the vehicle and act as it's springs degrade over time, crack etc. when this happens slow leaks allow air to escape when the compressor isn't able to keep the vehicle at proper ride height.
Air bag replacement is fairly expensive and an unfortunate extra maintenance cost that comes with air suspension. You can get a retro fit coil spring suspension for the Disco if you don't want to spend mucho bucks replacing air bags when they fail, but you will sacrifice some of the ride quality.
