With all the wet, wet rain in my Tamora and the water coming in in the usual place at the top of the door windows into the door pockets, the trim on both doors has got lines where the glue has lifted.

I had already checked with Racing Green on the water coming in and "they all do that sir".

So what to do? Will the standard TVR warranty cover a re-trim on the doors (on an 05 car) and how on earth am I going to stop it happening again as the car lives outside?

Graham,
You don't say when in 05 your car was registered, given that is late December 06, I supect that year one of your warranty is passed. The second and third years of warranty are not bumper to bumper cover and this would not therfore be covered.

I would suggest another bite at RG. They dont all do that sir, and "that" should have been sorted in year one of the warranty. Its not an expensive fix, and some goodwill on their behalf should see it fixed. Wet cars interiors create much more problems than wet carpets and it needs sorting to avoid electrical problems that will result.

I recommend that you get a good outdoor cover for your Tamora. I got one from my local TVR dealer. Although my Tamora (02) does not leek and is garaged most of the time, I do use the cover for the odd time the Tamora is left outside. It does protect the car from rain and damp conditions. Make sure you get a proper cover that allows the condensation out

The Leven half cover is a great job - covers all the joints, etc. where leaks might develope and doesn't chaff on the paintwork when it's windy - it's also easy to store when not in use.

I have the same problem and just called up Leven Technology and they said they don't make one to fit a Tamora. Any other suggestions?
