My outlook file has gone over 2gb and corrupted. I can recover it by using the microsoft tools but i loose the last 2 weeks of emails, and more! There are programs about which can break the outlook file into 2 instead of having to delete bits of the file..

Anyone got one of these programs... ?

Or some advice?

Not sure if this'll work....

Create a new .pst and then import from your old one.....

Actually, wouldn't upgrading to Office 2003 / Office 2007 instantly obliterate this problem? Correct me if I'm wrong but they no issues with 2Gb pst files? And it should just go "Ohh, it's an old style pst, I'll upgrade that for you squire", if that's the case.

Assuming it works it's the expensive option I'll grant you, but...

Other than that, if Outlook will... kinda... maybe... use the .pst file drag a but load of old crap to another .pst, then use the truncate program and use the fixer on the current one.
Backup first obviously.

I'm guess when converting to the new format it'll want a non-corrupt PST. You could be lucky though....

are you trying the delete 2 entirely different random bits of file and recover twice trick.
You normally end up with everything then but in two files
