Hey everyone, the name's Adam.

I'm looking forward to posting quite regulary in here as pretty soon I shall buying a Monaro (cant afford the vxr version shame).

Recently took one for a test drave from Slaters in Colwyn bay, and time permitting, will buy it in a couple of months once the money situation is a bit healthy'er.

So just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello.

Adam

True, the test drive did it! I was considering getting this or the new Civic type R when it comes out in March, I think I made the right choice!
Plus it already has a modded exahust on it which sorta sealed the deal!

Welcome to the fold.

Don't wish to rain on your parade (and I may have this totally wrong) but 19k sounds a bit high for an 04.... has the best boot though and is perfect for upgrading guess it depends on the mods already on it.

The only other one that is near me is one with the same spec (apart from the exahust) for 17995, but it has more miles and i'd have to wait till I go back to wiltshire to get it, which isn't till the end of next month.

If only they'd let us on the runway!!! Unfortunetely they don't let us......although they did let the Honda F1 car test there.
So how often do you guys meet up?

I've seen the Black CV8 at Slaters. It does look nice and you'll never be able to wipe the huge grin off your face once you get it out on the road properly.

Nice to see that there will be another Monaro from this board in the North Wales area (albeit part-time). That makes 3 of us now... Welcome.

5 Minutes away from Slaters so I'm one of the locals.

I drive past there nearly everyday and the Monaro's are easily visible from the top road plus I seem to spend my life there as my my works car, wifes' car and my Monaro go in for servicing a few times over the year.

When do you hope to get yours?

I'm going tommorow to have a chat about finance and stuff, hopefully take it for another spin.
But if I part-ex my car I need to go back to Swindon to get my logbook etc. and with christmas and new year coming, opening times are pretty awkward. Hopefully the first or second week of Jan i'll be able to pick it up.
