Just wondered if anyone had any views on any alternative tyres for the XKR other than the Pirelli P Zero's?
Ideally I want a good compromise between wear rate and wet/dry grip????
Are any other tyres are a: available in the correct sizes, and b: recommended by fellow drivers?
I fitted Goodyear Eagle F1's to my Cerbera and they were excellent compared to the original Bridgestones!!!

N.B:
Before I get shot down in flames, I know tyre choice is very much a personal thing, but would appreciate your views!! Also the search function is playing up, so sorry if this is something that has been discussed before.

Many thanks,

Cerby, the P-Zero's really are the best tyres for the XKR, expensive but v good.

I have always used P-Zero's up to my last set.
I have now fitted Toyo Proxes T1-Rs
Standard 245/45x18 on the front.
Gone larger 275/40x18 on the back.

Tyre wear seems the same but I prefer the extra grip of the Toyo's

I have to agree, I found the P-Zero's not very good on my XKR Convertible and tried the Eagle F1's that didn't seem to fair much better, however when I fitted the Bridgestone SO2 Potenzas, I tyre I used on a 450bhp MR2 Turbo, I found the grip far better and it felt more stable in corners - however, I will say they did wear about 2K miles earlier.
