Ok, any of you chaps know where I can get hold of a bonnet for an '04 Monaro CV8? I have searched (still searching) the LS1 forums & links & have mailed a couple of companies in Oz. I was hoping to source something in the UK.

Fibreglass would be pref & the VXR type (air intake 'nostrils') might be the way to go but ideally, I want the standard one. Any links to scrapyards would be good - I've turned up nothing so far.

Cheers.

Sorry Neil can't help with the bonnet, but I notice you have bilsteins fitted, I've been considering a suspension upgrade but haven't been able to find any Koni/bilsteins advertised, how are you fiding them?

OK, the ride is obviously firmer (bit too firm sometinmes) but I prefer that. The car feels more planted than the stock arrnagement but it's still not great. Bo55 has got the AVO set-up so it'd be worth having a word with him.

LSV supplied & fitted mine & Wortec & Monkfish can do the AVO kit. Are you going to the Ace on the 21st Jan?

Try www.newgel.com.au as they have new 'raw' VY monaro bonnets in stock if you're having no luck in the UK.

I am not sure if the VY sedan bonnet fits the VY(V2 seriesIII) Monaro as it has a different front edge. You might have to check that out.
I think it just takes a standard VT type bonnet, ie the HSV GTS(R) that you have a few of over there.
I can only point you at Oz places unfortunately.
Please note some of these sponsor where I normally live just so I don't get zapped for conflict of interest!

VY bonnet is different as motomk says, you need VT style. VY one would fit my ute though
